Ms. Goldfarb has a diverse legal background encompassing the areas of business and corporate transactions, real estate transactions, commercial litigation, estate planning and administration, and planning for the elderly and disabled. Ms. Goldfarb’s broad experience allows her to handle matters for all of the firm’s departments.
Ms. Goldfarb’s corporate experience includes the sale and acquisition of businesses and issues ancillary thereto, healthcare employment and consulting agreements, commercial and residential real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of property, commercial leases, and financing issues, and representing not-for-profit organizations. For the litigation department, Ms. Goldfarb represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial cases, enforcement of judgments, and estate litigation, handling all aspects of cases including pleadings and motion practice, discovery, hearings and negotiating settlements. In the trusts and estates area, Ms. Goldfarb drafts wills and trusts, handles all aspects of administering estates including probate and intestacy proceedings, estate tax matters and audits, and estate litigation. Ms. Goldfarb’s background includes guardianship proceedings and related matters, special needs planning, and asset management and protection.
Ms. Goldfarb is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
